How to add a point:

  1. Click on the 'edit' tab on top of the User Map page
  2. Click on the small text "show map", below the text formatting icons
  3. Scoll the Google Map to center on your location
  4. (Important!) Make space above the </googlemap> and place your text cursor in the empty line
  5. Click once on the map to lay down a tear-drop icon
  6. Click on the tear-drop (it will reposition)
  7. Click on "add point here" ...NOT "insert map centred here"!
  8. (new text will appear below - this is your point in Google Map-speak)
  9. Change the "label goes here" to a name for you, for example add
    [http://mydomain.org My Name]
  10. Click 'hide map'
  11. Save the page
