SELES is developed by Andrew Fall. He develops SELES to support his consulting work. And he releases it free of charge (in fact at his expense since he hosts the downloads) to others becuase he wants to see more environmental modelling done. Why? Good spatio-temporal modelling gives people (like decision makers) useful information about how natural systems are changing. Hopefully informed decisions are better decisions.

There are lots of ways that you can support SELES and the SELES Community. Here are some:

Add to and revise SELES.info

The SELESwiki needs your help! Visit the SELESwiki Guide to find out more about how to create an account and do some editting.

Subscriptions

If you are in government or a consultant, and you use SELES regularly or for projects, you might consider adding a 'SELES subscription' line item to you budget or projects. Contact Andrew at gowlland.ca for more information.
